Church family,

I pray that you are having a blessed week!

Midweeks are back! Can I get an Amen!

I truly cherish our midweek gatherings at St. James. They provide a wonderful opportunity to share a meal and delve into the Word together, all while our kids and youth programs are in full swing. At St. James, we have something for everyone in the family to grow in their faith. If you haven't signed up for a class yet, no worries! Just come tonight and join any class that piques your interest. Below in the Midweek section, you'll find descriptions of the classes we are offering, along with information about our kids and youth programs.

We are in the final stages of implementing our new door access system. However, we have encountered some complications with the front door of the Family Life Center. After the installation, we will provide detailed information and instructions on how to use the new access system next week. This system will enable you to enter the building using a personalized code or a key fob, significantly enhancing our security and ensuring a safer environment for everyone.

I pray you are enjoying our current sermon series, “Becoming.” I hope God is speaking to your hearts and challenging you to continue maturing in your walk with Christ. This past Sunday marked Week 2 of our series, focusing on Ephesians 4:1–16, which emphasizes unity, spiritual maturity, and humility within the Christian community. The central message is that mature Christians must recognize and actively maintain unity in the church and in their lives, as it is essential for spiritual growth. The sermon encouraged us to reflect on our actions and ensure that our lives align with our faith.

Paul urges the church in Ephesus to embody qualities such as humility, gentleness, and patience, which foster unity and strengthen the body of Christ. Ultimately, this message calls us to walk worthy of our calling, reflecting Christ's love and unity in our relationships and communities.

I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, 2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, 3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

— Eph.4:1-3 NKJV

Blessings in Christ,
