Church Family,

This past Sunday was an amazing day in the house of the Lord. It was great to be back with our congregation, worshipping the Lord and taking communion together. We kicked off our new series titled "The Church Defined," and I pray that God's word encouraged, inspired, and reminded you of what God's definition of the church is. The message emphasized that the church is fundamentally more than just a physical building; it is a collective body of believers unified in Christ.

We looked at Romans 12:1-5, which highlights the importance of presenting oneself as a living sacrifice and recognizing the diverse roles within the body of Christ, where each member has unique gifts and functions. The church is called to operate in grace, care for one another, and embody the light of Christ in the world. This perspective challenges the notion of church as merely a weekly gathering, urging individuals to actively serve and support one another, fostering a deeper sense of community and belonging. Ultimately, believers are encouraged to live out their faith authentically, reflecting Christ's love and grace in their daily lives.

Administrative Council Meeting Updates

On Sunday evening, we had our administrative council meeting, where we approved the 2026 annual budget, heard reports from our committees, and voted on some exciting items that I would like to share with you.

Rebranding Project

We are excited to announce that our church will undergo a rebranding initiative to revitalize our identity and enhance our outreach efforts. This rebranding will help us better connect with our community, attract new members, and clearly communicate our mission and values. By updating our visual identity and messaging, we can create a more inviting atmosphere that reflects our commitment to reach others for Christ. This change will strengthen our community bonds and allow us to share the love of Christ with those around us more effectively. The council voted unanimously to move forward. The total cost for the rebrand will be $4,995.  There has already been a $2,500 donation toward this project. The Nomination committee will assemble a team of three members from our church to begin working with a designer from Restore Graphics. In the weeks to come, you will be hearing more about this exciting project. To learn more and view their project portfolio, please visit their website. https://restore.graphics

Door Access Project

We are excited to announce a project to enhance our church's security by installing door access control systems powered by Ubiquiti technology. This initiative will involve installing access control at four key entrances throughout our church, ensuring only authorized individuals can enter the premises when the building is locked. The Ubiquiti system will enable us to remotely manage access, schedule lock and unlock times, monitor entry points in real time, and improve overall safety for our congregation, kids, youth, and visitors. The system also provides two-way video communication from the front office to the main entrance, allowing visitors to be buzzed in the building during office hours so that Tonya can unlock the main door from her desk. This upgrade not only enhances security but also fosters a welcoming environment where everyone can feel safe and secure while participating in our church activities. The council voted unanimously to move forward. The total cost of this project is $12,500. Funds have already been donated and allocated to this project, totaling approximately $4,000.

As your pastor, I am truly thrilled to witness the transformative changes happening in our church through the door access and rebranding projects. These initiatives are not just upgrades; they represent a significant step forward in our mission to create a safe, welcoming, and vibrant environment for our congregation and community. I believe the Lord is guiding us on this journey, providing the resources and vision we need to enhance our ministry.

If you are led to support these projects, we invite you to make a donation above and beyond your normal giving. Your contributions will play a vital role in helping us achieve our goals, reflect our faith more clearly, and serve our community with renewed purpose and enthusiasm.

Thank you for your continued support!

Pastor Brandon
