I hope this message finds you blessed and well. This week, we have experienced a wonderful Vacation Bible School (VBS), and tonight we will conclude with a special family night. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Brandi for her outstanding leadership and to all of our dedicated volunteers who made VBS such a tremendous success.

I am thrilled to announce that Trinecia Hodge will be stepping into the role of Contemporary Worship Leader. The Staff Parish Committee reached a unanimous decision that Trinecia is the perfect fit for this position. I praise the Lord for His guidance in filling this role, as well as the pianist position with Rachel Strong.

Additionally, I am excited to share that this coming Sunday, Zac Madden will deliver the sermon. A few weeks ago, I invited Zac to preach during our “Summer on the Mount” series, and he chose this week to share his message. I will be present this Sunday to support him, and I encourage you to keep Zac in your prayers as he prepares to share God’s Word.

Last Sunday marked Week 6 of the Sermon on the Mount, focusing on the teachings in Matthew 6:19–34. In this passage, Jesus addresses priorities, money, worry, and peace. He encourages us to prioritize the Kingdom of God over earthly treasures, reminding us that true fulfillment comes from spiritual pursuits rather than material possessions. The message warns against the anxieties associated with wealth and daily needs, urging us to trust in God's provision. By seeking His righteousness, we can find peace and assurance that our needs will be met. Let us take to heart the call to lay up treasures in heaven through good deeds and faithfulness, fostering lives centered on God rather than materialism. Let us trust in God for all things and not give in to worry and anxiety in our lives!

34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

— Matthew 6:34
