Church Family,

This past Sunday, we focused on prayer in our Lenten sermon series, examining Luke 11:1-4, where Jesus teaches His disciples about the importance of prayer in deepening our relationship with God. Lent is a perfect time for introspection and developing daily prayer habits. Jesus, who regularly prayed, models this priority by instructing His disciples to address God as "Our Father," highlighting intimacy and trust. The Lord’s Prayer emphasizes glorifying God, seeking guidance, recognizing our daily dependence, and pursuing forgiveness.

We have some important events coming up!

The first event is on March 22 at 2:30 in the family life center, when we will host a district-wide food packing event with Rise Against Hunger. It’s an honor to make an impact together! To ensure a successful day, we need volunteers. If you haven't signed up yet, please do! We’ll need help after the first service to remove chairs and set up 20 tables, as well as volunteers to assist with food packing. This day will also be the launching of a new ministry in our church for college and young adults.

The second event is our church work day on March 28 from 9am - 1pm. We invite all members of our church family to come together for a day of service, fellowship, and fun. Whether you can plant flowers, pull weeds, or help with general clean-up, your contributions will make a difference! Please sign up to let us know you will be helping and to be on the list for a light lunch. The link is below.

As we reflect on the importance of prayer and prepare for these upcoming events, let us remember the call to serve and support one another as a church family. Your participation in the food packing event and the church work day not only helps our church but also strengthens our bonds and deepens our faith. Together, we can make a meaningful impact and grow in our relationship with God. Thank you for your commitment and enthusiasm in serving others.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Blessings in Christ,

Pastor Brandon
