This past Sunday was a great day in the house of the Lord as we concluded our “Becoming” series on spiritual growth and maturity through Romans 12. Paul reminds us that each of us has been given a gift to build the body of Christ. Scripture encouraged us about the importance of God’s grace, which allows us to grow so we can help others grow in their faith. I shared that one of our church's core values is making disciples, and we have developed a pathway to becoming a disciple who makes disciples through our Grow classes. I’m excited to announce that on this Sunday, we will welcome guest speaker Kevin Beal from the Gideons. Each year, we invite the Gideons to share their impactful work locally and globally. On this day, we will take a special offering to support their efforts in distributing Bibles and New Testaments in our community, including schools, hotels, and hospitals. I want to prepare you for this special offering, as your participation is crucial—whether through prayer, support, or volunteering. Together, we can make a significant impact in spreading the message of hope and salvation through Jesus Christ. Thank you for partnering with us!

About Kevin Beal

Mr. Kevin Beal is the Immediate Past International President of The Gideons International. Prior to this role, he served as State President for Alabama–Northwest Florida, along with holding various other leadership positions at both the state and international levels.

A member of The Gideons International since 1999, Kevin resides in Hartselle, Alabama, with his wife, Aimee. They have two adult children, Grant and Jessica. The family are members of New Center Baptist Church, where Kevin serves as a Deacon and Trustee. Professionally, he is the Managing Partner of The Beal Group, a Country Financial insurance agency.

Kevin has traveled to more than 30 countries serving God through The Gideons International. He has participated in International Scripture Blitzes in Thailand, Ukraine, Chile, Bolivia, Kenya, and South Africa, and has also served on Special Assignment in China.

As we continue our journey together, may we remember that we are called not only to have faith but to grow in it, continually embodying the virtues of Christ in all that we do.
