Theology Of Worship- Week 1

Psalm 95:1–7

Why do we sing when we gather for worship? Psalm 95 reminds us that singing is more than a warm-up, a performance, or a matter of personal preference. It is the gathered people of God responding together to who God is: our Creator, King, and Shepherd.

In this message, we’ll consider how singing unites us, helps us remember God’s goodness, and leads us toward humility and trust. Whether we sing with joy or through a difficult season, we are invited to offer our voices—and our lives—in praise.

Big Idea: Singing is an important part of worship because it responds to God’s greatness and goodness.

Application: Worship is about giving God the praise he deserves, not simply hearing songs we like.
