Dear Church Family,

As we reflect on the past year, we are grateful for the blessings and challenges that have strengthened our faith community. Your generous contributions have been the cornerstone of our achievements, enabling us to spread love and make a significant impact both within our congregation and beyond.

On October 12, we will have a pledge Sunday, and we will come together to reflect on our commitment to Gods work and express gratitude for His blessings. Your financial contributions enable us to nurture spiritual growth and serve our community, while also planning for the upcoming year.

As we approach Pledge Sunday on October 12, 2025, I would like to take this opportunity to share my heart with you regarding this significant day in our church's life. Pledge Sunday will be a time for us to come together as a community to reflect on our commitment to Gods work through our church. It is a day when we can express our gratitude for the blessings we have received and make intentional decisions about our financial contributions for the upcoming year. Your generosity enables us to continue our mission of spreading love, serving our community, and nurturing spiritual growth.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your consideration of your pledges. Your commitment to supporting our church and its mission is a testament to your faith and dedication to God’s work.

In 2 Corinthians 9:7, we are reminded,

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

This verse beautifully captures the spirit of giving that we aspire to cultivate within our church family.

Your willingness to give, not just out of obligation but with joy and generosity, helps us to continue our ministries, support our community, and spread the love of Christ. Together, we can make a meaningful impact and fulfill our mission to serve others. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to me or contact the church office.

Thank you for your prayers, your support, and your cheerful giving. May God bless you abundantly as you continue to seek His guidance in your giving.

With gratitude and love,

Blessings,

Pastor Brandon

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

A pledge is an estimate of your giving for the upcoming year, which can be adjusted as your financial circumstances change.

Pledging allows you to make intentional financial decisions that reflect your faith and values. It helps our finance committee plan wisely for our church, setting a budget based on the total pledged amount. While plate offerings are vital, your pledge provides a clearer picture of our financial landscape and the ministries we can pursue.

Pledges can be made by filling out a pledge card in person and placing it in the offering plate on October 12 or at any time. You can also fill out our pledge card online on this page below.

Along with making a 12-month pledge, we ask that you prayerfully consider giving a “First Fruits” gift. These gifts will serve as a kick-start to the campaign and will be collected in church on the second Sunday of October. This gift does not have to be cash, but can be given by check or online, or however you are accustomed to giving.

The First Fruit Offering is a biblical practice where believers dedicate the first and best of their harvest or income to God. This act symbolizes gratitude, faith, and recognition of God’s provision in our lives.

Rooted in ancient Israelite tradition, the First Fruit Offering involved bringing the initial produce of the harvest to the Temple as an act of worship (Exodus 23:19). It signifies that all blessings come from God.

Acknowledgment of God’s Sovereignty: It reminds us that God is the source of all we have.

Demonstration of Faith: Giving the first fruits shows trust in God’s continued provision.

Cultivating Generosity: It encourages a spirit of generosity and joyful giving.

Blessings and Abundance: Many experience unexpected blessings when they honor God with their first fruits.

The First Fruit Offering is a spiritual commitment that reflects our relationship with God. By giving our first and best, we honor Him and open ourselves to His abundant blessings. Join us in this meaningful practice as we grow in faith together.

SUGGESTED GIVING CHART

The giving chart is a tool to assist you as you consider your pledge. Locate your weekly gross income in the left-hand column, and then determine the percentage of income you plan to contribute to identify your gift amount.

The tradition of giving back to God and to the church comes from the Biblical practice of tithing, which means to return a tenth (10%) of our earnings to the Lord. If you are unable to tithe currently, we encourage you to work towards tithing by growing your offering by 1% over last year’s amount.

How To Make A Pledge In Person

DIRECTIONS:

The pledge card has a perforated tear-off section. You will complete and keep the portion titled “Pray and Give” as a personal reminder of your pledge, as follows:

1. In the first blank (First Fruits Cash Gift), write the amount you will give as part of the campaign kick-off in October.

  1.
  2. 2. In the second blank (12-Month Commitment), write the total amount your regular offerings will add up to for the year.
  3.
  4. 3. Check the circle indicating how often you will give (weekly, monthly, etc.) toward your annual pledge.
  5.
  6. 4. In the final blank (Total Commitment), enter the total amount you intend to give for the year. This may be the same as your 12-month commitment, or it may be higher if you also plan to contribute to special offerings in addition to your regular giving.
  7.
  8. 5. Next, complete the “My Pledge” section in the same way, adding your name and contact information. Place this portion in the offering plate or return it to the church office.

Please know that making a pledge does not bind you to give a certain amount, and no one will contact you if circumstances prevent you from meeting your pledge. All giving records remain confidential, and I do not—and will not—review them.

The purpose of these cards is two-fold:

1. To encourage prayerful and intentional giving as part of your walk with God.

2. To help the church plan responsibly for the year ahead, ensuring that we can support both the ministries within our church and the ways we serve our community.
