Church Family,

What an amazing day we had this past Sunday with confirmation! So proud of our youth who have confirmed their faith in the Lord!

The Sunday message explored the concept of defining moments in our faith journey, emphasizing that God invites us to transition from intention to action. Using Philippians 2:13 as a key verse, we reflected on how God empowers us to fulfill His purposes. The sermon also examined the historical context of Haggai and Zechariah, highlighting the spiritual and economic struggles of the Israelites after their return from the Babylonian captivity. Haggai called for rebuilding the temple and urged the people of God to prioritize God's Kingdom, while Zechariah emphasized the need for spiritual renewal and reliance on God's Spirit to overcome obstacles. Ultimately, the message encouraged us to take bold steps in faith, trusting in God's power to transform our lives and communities, and reminded us that even small actions, when aligned with divine will and empowered with the Holy Spirit, can lead to significant change.

So I encourage you to take bold steps toward God's calling in your lives, trusting that His Spirit will guide and equip you.

How is God calling you?

What is God speaking into your life right now?

What vision is God putting in your heart?

Maybe even practice believing impossible things for half an hour a day.

Know that when your vision is from God, and it is Spirit-led, you will see success.

I look forward to seeing you tonight at Mid-Week and enjoying some fantastic pancakes! I also look forward to Sunday as we will celebrate with communion, worship the Lord, and recognize our graduates. We will have tables in the Family Life Center with baskets that you can drop off cards of encouragement to our graduates.

6 So he answered and said to me:

“This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:

Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,

Says the Lord of hosts.

7 ‘Who are you, O great mountain?

Before Zerubbabel, you shall become a plain!

And he shall bring forth the capstone

With shouts of “Grace, grace to it!” ’ ”

Zechariah 4:6–7 NKJV

Blessings in Christ,

Pastor Brandon
